Summary | 0006699: a request
Description | is there any way when duplicating a track to have a preference to duplicate to new tack so it doesn't end up dropping at the end of the same track? I'd love to have them drop at either playhead or session start

Duplicate track functionality will be in the next release. If you are using version 4.4 I'm not sure functionality you are referring to, are you duplicating a range? You can use Cut/Copy/Paste http://manual.ardour.org/ardours-interface/basic-gui-operations/cut-and-paste-operations/ to duplicate selected objects/events or ranges and then they can be pasted at the edit point. |

Ardour version 4.6 has duplicate tracks/busses functionality so marking this issue as resolved. If the reporter meant something else then I'm assuming from not responding that they worked out how to do what they want. |
