Disable periodic saves in the preferences (which is by default every 120 seconds). With a huge session,saving can be quit intense. |

I currently marked that the final size of snapshot is currently 70+ megabytes due to many compound regions. The session loads and saves very slow on my 8-core CPU and software RAID (stripe). |
