| Description | Downloaded paid Linux64 version 4.2. Every attempt to import media (WAV) results in segmentation fault after the importing process finishes. Tried with different WAV files: Long and short files, different sample rates. Always segfaults. I use 64bit Ubuntu 15.04. | ||||

What Import settings? Menu > Session > Import Add files: "as new track" Insert at: "session start" In 4.2.0 it was possible to import to "selected tracks" even if no track was selected. That could explain the crash. Also, "Tape Tracks" are broken. don't use them. |

Your suggestion did not work. It still crashed. However, it stopped crashing when I UNCHECKED the option "Copy file to project". If "Copy file to project" is checked, it always crashes. My project is located in /home/fuxoft/Documents/fukafutokyu/intro/ and there is enough room on disk. |

The crash is caused by DiscoveryPro VST synth in CDiscovery::getStateInformation(juce::MemoryBlock&) |
