| Description | When I try to scroll the project with Shift+Wheel it zooms instead. I could not find out the exact circumstances under which this occurs, but it happens quite often when I intensively use both Ctrl+Wheel and Shift+Wheel. Looks like there's a lag which causes release of Ctrl to be ignored. | ||||

Scroll without Shift also causes zoom (sometimes?) when it's stuck. Switching to another application and back unsticks it. |

I am using Debian Linux Jessie x64. |

Nope, switching to another app and back does not help, it was a coincidence. Looks like Ctrl unsticks back all by itself after a few seconds. This problem occurs very often, every 10 minutes or so. |

If your cursor is in the ruler area, the scroll wheel will zoom in/out of your session. This seems to override the use of shift. Might this be what is happening? |

2 Leatuspenguin: Heh, you're probably right! I wonder why this problem didn't plague me when I used version 4.0? Is it something introduced in the version 4.1/4.2? Anyway this topic may be marked as solved by now... |

But is this a feature or a bug? It surprised me several times too with the 4.x versions I've used (from 4.0 IIRC), until I figured out that indeed it only happened in the ruler area. Is there a reason it should behave differently there? |
