| Summary | 0006486: mouseover or click on mixer data fields causes unintended select/copy/paste desktop action | ||||
| Description | First appeared: 4.0 (linux kxstudio) Reproducibility: frequent (but not always) Severity: minor but hugely disruptive to workflow click to reset peak meter in channel strip works - then desktop interprets the action as text selection, copies to X primary selection buffer and changes cursor to desktop sticky note paste mode. mouseover on the fader gain input field - without any click - causes the same select/copy/paste action. click on the input field to set fader gain still works normally. | ||||
| Additional Information | There are no mouse settings, window settings, or klipper settings in KDE that have any impact on this interaction. I've verified with xev my mouse is sending the correct button presses. It appears to be an X issue rather than KDE. This does not occur in any other application. Just Ardour 4. I would like to check this on AVlinux to see if it spans X11 desktops. | ||||
