| Description | Ardour's default config is to only scan VST plug-ins on a manual request to do so from the plugin manager. Default should be to scan each time Ardour starts, otherwise newly installed plug-ins don't appear, with no obvious explanation or discoverable remedy. Compounded by the fact that other plug-ins (e.g. LV2) are discovered / scanned automatically, making it falsely appear as if the (newly installed) VST plug-in is broken. | ||||
