| Description | Adding the path to imported files to the session's default search path for audio files (as happens when 'Copy files to session' is not ticked) can be unhelpful if there are identically-named files in the session and the import location, for example, when importing files from the interchange folder of another session with tracks of the same names as the session being imported into.
When this happens, the next time the session is opened the 'ambiguous file' dialogue keeps appearing, once for each of the files which have duplicate names in the other session. There appears to be no way out of this situation without editing the session file to remove the path to the duplicate files. |
