Summary0005984: Adding an audio track causes Ardour to terminate and MIDI data is lost.
DescriptionI open my session, do Track | Add a track or bus | add 1 audio track mono
and Ardour 3.5.403 (not 3.0 as above, 3.5 not in dropdown) exits / terminates. This is reproducible. One track of the 6 or so is a midi track and I noticed at least once when I re-opened the session that the notes had gone. Fortunately I had taken a backup copy of the whole session folder previously. One other thing that might be unusual is I have the output from the midi track feeding into the input of an audio track.
Please note I am quite new to Ardour and Ubuntu / Linux.
I've tried this scenario several times. Sometimes I can add a track ok but continuing to add more causes the crash and loss of midi data. I have a slight suspicion that selecting the midi track before adding makes things worse.
I have attached the session folder minus the wav files in order to meet the 5000k limit.

Additional InformationSetup: Dell laptop, core i5 processor. Scarlet 2i4. Ubuntu Studio - not sure what version, can't see where it says. Ardour 3.5.403 recently installed. Previous Ardour 3 uninstalled. (I notice that in the list of installed apps in the software centre, whereas A3 had been listed, A3.5 is not listed)

At one point I got the following in a log window :-

I might be wrong about the midi disappearing... I just noticed the slider on the track had gone to the top so no notes were showing.

I encounter the same under fedora 20. It's a new issue with version 403.
