| Description | Ardour suddenly crashes. First time was opening a plugin (Calf Compressor), but the next time was selecting a region, so I suposse it's a random issue. The annoying point is trying to open the project again: In the list of last sessions, the one that I had the issue appears, but instead of the sample rate you can read "??", and no bit info. If you try to open it, there's a window showing 'couldn't load session "/wherever/it/is/session-name"'. The audio files are still in it's place, but I have to open a new session and start puzzling with the samples if I want to re-build the session... or start it over again! And of course, pray for this issue won't occurs again. Last time it did... | ||||

I seem to experience these random crashes too. Yesterday Ardour 3 crashed 4 times in 10 minutes, today not a single time in 1 hour of work. I've noticed it happens mostly when taking some action - for example hitting Ctrl+Z or pressing a mouse button... however I can never tell if and during what it will occur. |
