Summary | 0005807: Allow logarithmic scale per-track for automation
Description | Some automatable plugin controls (notably cutoff frequency for filters) are by nature logarithmic. With many of these, all the interesting stuff happens right in the low end of the scale (e.g. 20-100Hz), even though the scale may go all the way up to 20kHz. This makes it hard to edit such automation tracks, because even at full track height, the mouse resolution is over 100Hz, so manual entry is sometimes required. Also, for such controls, high resolution in the upper parts of the range is not required as much. It'd be great if it was possible to set some automation tracks to a logarithmic scale, to make them more easily editable where the resolution is needed.
