| Description | after exporting a selection of a session, ardour freezes and the following text is posted to the terminal: "Exception thrown by AudioGrapher::Threader<float>: wait timed out" the file itself seems to be complete, however sndfile-info suggests that it has not been closed properly. | ||||

yes. i get this every time, i use the export dialog of ardour3 |

Even with a very simple session? Can you give a recipe from creating a new session? |

simple sessions seem to work, but all my real-world sessions (with plugins and automation) freeze a3 |

Do you have an example session that isn't too enormous? |

sorry, i cannot provide a reduced test case. but probably it is impossible, as it seems to be a threading problem/race condition or the like. fwiw, as a workaround i have been limiting the number of dsp threads to 1. |

I think this should be fixed in r11317. Could you please check? Do note though, that the UI might seem to be in a frozen state for some while before the export finishes, but it is actually doing some work on the background. This is a separate issue though... |
