| Description | Looped midi regions are not played smoothly , it takes a little time ( mean some ms) to reach the start point again, it's in late on the timing. | ||||
| Additional Information | system is Ubuntu 10.10 , intel 3.9ghz , 4gb Ram , processor frequency scaling disabled .Soundcard emu1212 alsadriver 1.0.24 , 48khz .Jack settings : Frames 256 , period buffer 2 , midi driver :seq | ||||

unless you use seamless looping (Edit -> Preferences -> Transport) then looping will always involve a transport locate and this will always take some time. please try a recent version of ardour3 and test it with seamless looping. |

Yes, upgraded Ubuntu to 11.10 and Ardour 3 beta 3 but things are not better . I've noted that this happens only if a midi track is played alone , this not happens if an audio track is played alongside the midi one . |
