How to reproduce
-----
1. While trying to go back to the beginning of a song in Ardour.
2. I had also just done a couple of fairly quick undo's.

Its correct to report this here, but to make any progress on this (and we may not, since 2.8.11 is pretty much in maintainance only mode now), we need a good backtrace of the crash. A description of how to generate one of these can be found at http://ardour.org/debugging_ardour.
