Roughly how wide is that connection window in relation to the total width of your screen? |

FWIW, that particular issue doesn't seem to be a problem any more -- if I open the matrix router display for the output from a MIDI track now, it displays as expected. However, there are still a number of cases where the router window isn't quite wide enough to display the listed columns. Scrolling the window does allow you to access the extra columns, though, so it's not quite as bad as before where a resize was required. There's plenty of space on my screen for the windows to grow (I have a dual-head setup, with Ardour usually sitting on the main head, which is 1920x1080 pixels). The attached example shows how the router looks on a MIDI track with a synth plugin loaded in to it. There are three outputs (two audio, one MIDI), but the third is initially obscured. I've included the entire display (or at least, the head that Ardour's running on) in the screenshot, so you can see Ardour in context. |
