Product Version2.8.11
Target Version2.8.12
Summary0003907: Erroneous automation editing
DescriptionWhen multiple points are selected and their value is changed by dragging the line that connects them, and then a new point is added, the value of previously selected ones changes unpredictably.

When multiple points are moved using Ctrl-dragging one, and then a new point is added, all the points on the right of the one that was dragged are erased.

Sometimes editing automation on an automation track will spontaneously create random additional points far to the left and right from the point of editing.

Sometimes editing region gain automation will also spontaneously create points, usually outside region bounds!

Now I see there is a lot of bugs about automation reported for other product versions, probably due to the same code base.
And I get crashes very often too, and I suspect automation part to be responsible for them.

I have reported multiple unresolved bugs relating to A3s (MIDI) automation and you list some I was unaware of but I've noticed that Ben has pretty much re-wrote automation within the mixbus branch in the last few days so may we see this new automation code in A3 soon? Some of my bugs could be MIDI specific of course.
