Summary | 0003722: Freeze/block when exporting range markers to multiple audio files
Description | Cancel button doesn't respond, ie hitting cancel won't stop exporting range markers. The dialog window disappear, the export of all subsequent ranges continues but the first is interrupted. Moreover, choosing a different location using the "browse" button, suddenly freezes ardour and ranges are not exported at all. The output of "ps -ax" shows ardour in a "Z" (defunct) state.
Additional Information | I can reproduce the same problem across projects on the same box. Did not try on another machine.

Here's what I did: 1. Created empty project in ardour 1. Created midi track with some notes in it 1. Added two ranges 1. Chose "Export to Audio File" (Alt+e) 1. In Time Span tab, selected the two ranges 1. In Time Span tab, I chose "RT" for the two ranges so it would take longer to export 1. Exported the audio 1. Quickly chose "Stop Export" If I clicked fast enough, neither range was exported. If I waited a bit to click stop, only one range was exported. Are you still able to reproduce? |
