Summary0002369: Ardour stops sending MTC upon looping.
DescriptionAfter choosing "send MTC," Ardour sends MTC while playing or recording. When a loop range is set and loop-play is engaged, Ardour sends MTC until the loop actually loops, then MTC just stops.

A midi trace of the MTC output confirms that it simply stops sending time code.

This behavior occurs with 2.4.1, 2.5, 2.0-ongoing (3581), but NOT with 3.0 (3201).
