Summary0001586: Ability to trim the beginning or end of a region without the fade handle moving, effectively changing the length of the fade.
DescriptionAbility to trim the beginning or end of a region without the fade handle moving, effectively changing the length of the fade.

As discused with Paul, this could be implemented by the use of the middle mouse button when trimming.

The constraints of this movement would be the furthest a regions start/end could be trimmed out to and the fade handle position. I don't think the fade handle should move if you try and drag past it.

Was doing some topping and tailing recently and this would have been really useful.

Updating the idea though. Instead of middle mouse button when trimming, a new handle should be added to the beginning of a fade in and the end of a fade out. This would make the feature more discoverable.
