| Platform | GNU Linux | OS | Fedora (GNOME - Wayland) | OS Version | 43 |
| Product Version | 9.2 | ||||
| Summary | 0010287: Touch Fader Automations default to max amplification (+6.02db) | ||||
| Description | (apologies if this has already been reported. I checked first, and didn't find any existing reports) When using Automation - Fader (Touch) on any track: anytime you add a new automation point, rather than the expected behavior of it defaulting to whatever the amplification is at that point of the track, it automatically maximizes amplification (+6.02). This creates substantial headaches when doing fine automation. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Create a new automation point (Automation - Fader: Touch) | ||||
| Additional Information | I have only experienced this in Ardour 9. Previous versions have had automation points behave properly. I also looked through settings to see if this was a "feature" (I could disable) rather than a "bug" (which I could not). I found nothing apparent. | ||||
