And here's a relatively 'small' project: |

tl;dr: Remove your custom theme file for Ardour 9.2 The summary is now themable, but your custom color file for Ardour 9.2 does not specify the colors. In this case Ardour picks random colors every time, which makes it very obvious that devs forgot to add a color to the theme. We call it harlequin debugging. New users for upcoming 9.3 will not see this, because theme files are versioned. This only affects users who run 9.2.X and have a customized their color theme. |

PS. on macOS the file would be ~/Library/Preferences/Ardour9/*.colors |

Resetting the theme in Preferences > Colors also fixes it. |
