| Summary | 0010255: Follow count on cue clip does not work when cue is triggered using F1 key | ||||
| Description | When triggering cue A using the F1 key, the "Follow Count" does not seem to be respected. I checked the manual and the forum to see if this is intended behaviour, but I could not find anything. Please see the "Steps to reproduce" for a minimal example that exhibits the issue. Interestingly, when I create a cue marker in the timeline in the Edit view to trigger cue A, and start playback using the regular "Play" button, the clip repeats properly as specified in the "Follow Count". | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | - Create a new session with the empty template. - Open the Cue view. - From "Ardour Bundled Content" in the Clips list, drag the "rock/1_groove_rock01.mid" clip to the plus sign to create a new track (actual clip used doesn't seem to matter). - Drag another clip (eg. "rock/1_hats_rock01.mid" into the B row in the same newly created track. - Click on the clip in the A row, set its left "Follow Option" to "Forward" and the "Follow Count" to 3. - Click on the clip in the B row, set is left "Follow Option" to "Reverse". - Hit F1 to start playback on cue A. - Expected result: the first clip (row A) should play 3 times, then the second clip (row B) should play 1 time, then the pattern should repeat. - The clip on row A does not actually repeat 3 times, it is only played once. | ||||
