Summary0010217: Make waveforms *visually* 'fade' at 'cross-fading' areas between overlapping regions.
DescriptionEven if overlapping audio regions are "opaque", it makes sense to still show the user the 'trailing' waveform during 'cross-fading' overlaps.

-Why? -Because the *audio* from the earlier region is still there, and is fading-out.
So, why not (better) match what you *hear* with what you *see*?
...
(Albeit if you did this *exactly* then different visual 'gradients' of the waveform would have to be made to correspond to the different *fade shapes*. But simply fading visually (-linearly-) from one side to the other -despite specific fade shape used- would be superior/satisfactory!)

In the pictures attached you can see:
1. What a *current overlap* looks like.
2. A rough *approximation* of a newer, proposed look.
Additional InformationAlso worth noting that to overcome this I'm having to click-on (*and MOVE slightly*) whichever region-end I want to see the audio waveform under it that it's obscuring.
Needless to say, but I wouldn't have to do that if this feature was implemented. : )

Thank you for considering!
