| Summary | 0010209: Change the "Sharing Active Status?" group option to "Active", and simply use that checkbox to activate/deactivtate all routes... | ||||
| Description | Unless I’m mistaken, currently it seems that the only way to deactivate all tracks/buses within a group is to have the ’Active Status’ sharing enabled for the group, then right-click on a track/bus within the group, and uncheck “Active”. And so if you're trying to reduce CPU-load / DSP-use / energy-consumption (like sometimes I am), one has to tediously scroll to one track/bus from each group, right-click and uncheck the box next to "Active", and so on... This can be quite a burden if you have 10-20 groups. Thus I propose changing the “Sharing Active Status?” option for a group to something simpler like merely “Active” (-just like the option for a track/bus-), and then when you check or uncheck that checkbox, *all* tracks/buses in the group are immediately activated or deactivated respectively. This way, one could run down the list of “A” checkboxes in the Groups list, and quickly activate/deactivate groups quickly and easily. -Thank you for considering this possibility! : ) -J | ||||
