| Summary | 0010198: Ardour9 zoom unlogical precedence beats over bars | ||||
| Description | In Ardour on the "bars:beats" ruler when zooming at certain zoom extents there is not enough place to display both bars and beats. Since bars are more important then beats, Ardour should always give precedence to bars over beats. However in Ardour9 it seems that at certain zoom extents unlogically the beats get visibility precedence over the bars. This makes it difficult to see on which bar the playhead is playing. I've attached 4 screenshots at 4 different zoom levels (gradually zooming out from top to bottom). In the middle two screenshots you can see that respectively beats 2-4 and beats 2-3-4 are repeatedly shown, but the actual bar numbers are not visible. | ||||
