@paul While you're at this... Is it possible to make region *envelope* abide by this setting at well? Because currently, in Draw Mode if I edit region envelope, it *always* ignores the y-axis position of the mouse, even if that setting is off/disabled. Thanks, -J |

And FYI: I also cannot replicate the specific bug (e.g. new points jump to +6db) as described... @IndustrialPowerSound Are you able to replicate this bug in other/new projects, or other automation lanes? |

@GhostsonAcid I can replicate this in both new and old projects, and just tested it on the High/Low Pass plugin, at a point where the cutoff was set at 8000hz; clicking the automation line bumped the new point to 20000hz (the max). However, @paul, setting that option on does fix the issue. Thanks for the tip! |

Can you much more specific information and/or just a small test session archive that shows the problem? |

@paul If you tell me how I make a test session archive I can try that. However, since the option you mentioned seem to fix it, it's not that big a deal anymore for me. |

@paul Here's a small session archive. Just opened an empty project, put a MIDI track in it and made one fader automation point in it. With the option you mentioned back off that point got bumped to the max again. Hope it is of help, if not, let me know what more you'd like me to try. |
