Sorry for spamming you guys with 2min videos (-___-), but here's another one because I think this is important: https://odysee.com/@icterine:a/Ardour-9---Adding,-Bypassing,-or-Unbypassing-Plugins-with-Delay-whilst-Playing-causes-Shifting-Audio:2 --> Also possibly related to issue 0010177: https://tracker.ardour.org/view.php?id=10177 I personally would expect that PDC would be properly 'reset' or 'accounted for' *whilst* the playhead is rolling. But if this is some necessary or unavoidable artifact from how PDC is handled in Ardour, then I guess so be it! Thanks for watching/reading! -J | ||||

-Solved for merely *playing* audio (i.e. pressing play, or using the spacebar). -But NOT yet solved for *looping* audio. ... @x42 You mentioned that this ('shifting' audio stuff) has to do with *reading* the file(s) from disk, yeah? -So does *looping* audio handle disk reading differently somehow? |
