| Summary | 0010162: Audio clip recording record a digital mess | ||||
| Description | OS: Opensuse Tumbleweed Whenever I try to record anything into the clips it just records a mess often with a speaker slapping volume spikes. Recording into the regular timeline works fine. I have tried it both with Alsa and Pipewire modes, still the same. I've attached an example (attempted recording of a bass guitar) but there's no consistency with recording, it can range from low volume mess to just a mass of spikes. | ||||
| Steps To Reproduce | Record audio in cue mode. | ||||

As mentioned on the forum, I have since found mono tracks to be fine but stereo tracks not to be. Tested following combinations Single input>Mono track=No Problem Single input>Stereo track=Distorts Stereo input>Mono track=No Problem Stereo input>Stereo track=Distorts Stereo Input>4 channel track=Distorts. |
