| Summary | 0010130: Sidebar - Clips - MIDI bottom section button issue | ||||
| Description | In the `Editor - Sidebar - Clips` section if you click on `.mid` files (such as in the `Ardour Bundled Content` folder), a section will appear at the bottom of the sidebar, that contains a drop down selector and a button to its right. This section allows user to test .mid sounds with instrument of users choosing. When using Ace Fluidsynth soundfont player, the button to the right of the drop down opens up a 16 channel selector window. When using a 3rd party instrument plugin it opens up that instruments GUI window with the title "Audition Synth" (allowing user to modify parameters / select preset they want to use). First off, I would consider changing the name of this windows title from "Audition Synth" to "Audition Instrument" But anyways, I noticed that it seems that once an instrument is loaded, that button that shows GUI window gets stuck on only showing that plugins GUI window. Meaning, if you change the instrument to a different instrument plugin, when you hit that button it does not show the GUI for this replacement instrument. It instead shows previous original instrument plugins GUI window. Hope this helps Thank you to anyone who reads this | ||||
