| Summary | 0010120: Regions - Reversing a region deselects the region | ||||
| Description | Not sure if this is a bug or intentional? I noticed that if you select a region and then reverse it, Ardour is programmed to deselect that region after the reverse action is applied. Unless I am overlooking something, to me it feels like the region should stay selected after the reverse action is made. For example, say an audio track contains many small audio regions within it. User selects a region in between these other small regions and then applies a reverse action -If region stays selected it would help user see which region they just applied the reverse to, it can get lost (visually to the user) after deselected. -User might also want to play that reversed region to hear what it sounds like, using "Play Selected Regions" action/shortcut -I know user can just "undo" the action, but could also be a little convenient for them to just hit the reverse action/shortcut again to undo back to the way it was. Hope everyone agrees with this observation? Thank you to anyone who reads this | ||||
