| Description | I noticed that in the `Plugin Selector` window, the `Fav` (Favorites) column now has had its check box + check icons replaced with white and yellow stars. I had first thought that there was a bug, that all my plugins were set to Favorites "on", but I then realized that clicking on them turns the star icons yellow. I like the idea of using the star icons because this is a very common icon used to indicate "Favorites" in various applications, this looks better then check boxes that were there before. However, in this situation it feels that there is not that much contrast between the color white = "off" and the color yellow = "on" Here are some suggestions to maybe consider instead OPTION 1 Off = WHITE star outline On = YELLOW filled or WHITE filled star I like the idea of using an outline for the "off" state because it makes it very clear to the user. If developers do not agree / maybe star outlines do not look good visually, then maybe OPTION 2 Off = DARK GRAY star On = YELLOW filled or WHITE filled star Hope this helps Thank you to anyone who reads this | ||||
| Additional Information | Side Note: Plugin Manager If the decision is made to go with outline = off Then I would also consider updating the `Plugin Manager` "Fav" column icons to star outlines for consistency. If do not go with outline = off then I would not do this because it would make the `Plugin Manager` look confusing with filled "off" stars because this window also contains "Ign" and "Hide" columns that have their own icons as well. But each having their own outlined shape icons: square / star / circle could look nice. | ||||
