So now Ardour crashes with LSP Plugins too! First time plugin opening working, reopening -->Ardour Crash
So Ardour is unusable at the moment, gonna switch to Reaper or Qtractor, much more stable.

Likely caused by XWayland. There have been reports of this on Arch with recent Wayland versions.

So I uninstalled xorg-xwayland and switched to Mate Desktop --> same issue.
Found that there is no issue with LSP VST3 and no issue with ZynAddSubFx VST.
So the issue only occurs if I use LV2 Plugins.

The issue persists, no matter which plugin format.
Randomly crashing (with core dumps) by opening plugins, and by closing Ardour.
So Ardour under Arch is unusable at the moment!

Address boundary error I have with LSP Plugins too.
Now even x42 plugins do not reopen anymore, initial opening works, but if I want to reopen nothing happens.

That is reminiscent of https://discourse.ardour.org/t/lsp-plugins-1-2-23-released/112143/37
openGL only works once, and then not again.

This is definitely a system, setup and/or video driver bug.

Question remains, why does this only affect Ardour and not other DAWs?

So I think I finally found the error.
It's mesa 25.2.2-4.
I installed amdonly-gaming-mesa-git 25.3.0.
Everythings working again, no crashes, no plugin issues anymore.
So I'm really happy I can use Ardour again.

So I think I finally found the error.
It seems to be a mesa 25.2.2-4. issue on my hardware.
Upgraded to amdonly-gaming-mesa-git 25.3.0 and now
everythings working again, no crashes, no plugin issues anymore.
So I'm really happy I can use Ardour again.
And sorry for blaming Ardour.
