Summary0009266: Automation lanes are not correctly moved along with audio after ( undone ) changes.
DescriptionAutomation lanes are not correctly moved along with audio after ( undone ) changes.

The only solution I've found for this is a workaround.
But this is very inconvenient because it is very time consuming for large areas.
Steps To Reproduce- Create Audio Track
- Import an audio file and place it on Audio Track.
- Activate some automation lanes ( f.e. PAN and FADER ).
- Draw some nodes on the automation lanes under the audio file.
- Now you can move the audio file without any problems to left and right. The nodes on the automation lanes follow correctly.
- Activate Range Mode, mark and delete a small part of the audio file. Undo the changes with CTRL+ Z
- Activate Drag Mode. If you now move the audio file left or right, the nodes on the automation lanes no longer follow correctly.
- The only workaround i have found to enable moving correctly again is the follow.

- Activate Range Mode and mark the entire area of the audio file.
- Right click on it and click "Consolidate" from context menu.
- Confirm by clicking on "Bounce".
- Only now is it again possible to correctly move the audio along with the nodes on the automation lanes.

6.9 and 7.x are very different code bases. Does this bug exist in 7.3 ?

Yes. From 6.9 to 7.3.

Take a look if you want. I made a video of it.

Hello Paul.

Is there any news about this bug? Unfortunately, it exists still in version 8.2.0.
When can we expect a bug fix?

Thanks in advance

I can't give any info on that, I am not working on bug fixes right now.
