Summary0008708: Crash opening recently saved session
DescriptionSaved a file which contains both Audio and MIDI tracks. If a MIDI note (not a region!) is selected when the session is saved, Ardour cannot open it again.
Steps To ReproduceOpen a new session
Create a MIDI track
Create a region on that track
Create a note on that region
Select the new note
Save the session
Close Ardour

Open Ardour
Open the newly created session
Ardour tries to open the session, build some parts of the display but breaks while (not always) displaying a message saying "Please wait while Ardour loads visual data".
Before starting the session, Ardour crashes.

If retried, sometimes (with small sessions), Ardour manages to boot without crashing.

With big files, sucessively rebooting Ardour doesn't solve anything.
Additional InformationWorkaround:

Edit the instant.xml file on the root folder of the project.
Remove whatever is inside the <Selection> element.
Save instant.xml.
Restart Ardour and open the crashing project without any issues.
