(A dumb unrelated question/observation: Why do you call this snapping "MinSec" and not "Seconds"?)
Steps To Reproduce1) Create a midi region and select MinSec snapping and enable "Snap".
2) Place midi notes

In 2), the midi notes are not snapped to seconds.

So, this is actually by design, believe it or not. Ben's reworking of snap means that for MIDI notes, any type of snap other than Beat or Bar is treated as equivalent to Beat.

We should discuss it with him on IRC.

If that's the case, then yes, I guess it would be good to discuss this decision. It has a large potential for confusion.

On the other hand, even your described behavior is not the case (if I understand correctly). You can see that the blue line snaps to beats, but the note does not. So, notes do not have any snapping at all in this mode.Only if you resize or move regions etc. then they snap, but for notes it is as if snapping is turned off completely.

So the bug is rather that the snap-cursor snaps in this case..?

No. The bug is that the grid is set to minsec, snap is enabled, but MIDI notes still use music time (1beat).

It isn't clear if it is a bug or not, to be honest.
