Summary	0007492: Request: search plugins by filename path
Description	Whenever I want to add a plugin to a project, I can search it by the following criteria: Name contains Type contains Category contains Author contains Library contains Favorites only Hidden only Only the first one is really useful to me. The second, more or less. The rest, not really. Other DAWs have grouping systems that really help in finding what I want. I wish Ardour would let me create my own groups, too. At the very least, add the ability to search by file path, so I can make my own directory structure: /plugins/drums /plugins/guitars /plugins/eq /plugins/the_best /plugins/not_so_good /plugins/5_stars /plugins/3_stars etc. If Ardour can filter the search for plugins by strings contained in their paths, I'll have a pretty good group system.
