Summary | 0006306: Ardour & Calf: plugin windows sinking under the main window
Description | 1. Start Ardour 2. Add Calf plugin 3. Click the main Ardour window. What expected: plugin window keeps visible (Ardour 3.5.X). What actually happens: plugin window sinks under the Ardour's window.

Another perspective: I often want the actual (current) behaviour that SadKo reports, because the plugin windows cover up too much of the Ardour editor and/or mixer windows, especially when using a single screen. However, on KDE, I find the opposite current behaviour: plugin windows always start with the "Keep Above Others" option enabled, so I have to manually turn it off on each one to get what I want. And for me, A4 is the same as A3 in this way. OTOH what I observe may be due to KDE's standards compliance issues that Paul and/or x42 have made me aware of lately. |
