Summary0004412: pre-fader processor drag-and-drop broken
Descriptionit is currently not possible to copy a processor from one channel strip to the next to a pre-fader position.

when i drag a processor to a place post-fader, the existing processors move out of the way to create a space to drop, and the new one is created correctly.
however, when the drag target is pre-fader, nothing will move, and the drag will be aborted.

this applies only to drags from other channels, within the same channel, it is possible to move a processor from post-fader to pre-fader without problems. so the workaround is to drag post-fader, then move it pre-fader.

correction: it _is_ possible to drag a processor pre-fader, it's just very hard to hit the correct place, since the other processors won't move out of the way.

note: this is with a huge session, 42 tracks to 16ch master.

Works for me. Do you have an example session file?

well, i found that it may be due to the fact that i'm using ardour via an ssh/x11 forward over wlan, which makes some operations a bit tricky because visual feedback of mouse actions is slightly delayed.

it's definitely possible to do it, but if you want to move it to the top of the processor list, the other processors don't move out of the way. in all other places, they do, giving you a nice visual indication that this would be a good place to release the mouse button.

closing this one, sorry for the noise
