Summary | 0002505: the track metering point of the mixer is not stored in the session
Description | in the mixer window, the metering button below the fader/meter allows metering to be changed from the default "post" to "input" or "pre". the state of this button is not stored in the session. this is somewhat inconvenient for large surround sessions, because most tracks are mono but panned to a large number of channels (9 in my case). but i'm not interested in seeing the 9 individual output meters (i know what my panner does). it is more cpu-effective to just display the mono "pre" meter, and it saves screen real estate. re-setting all metering points each time a session is loaded is a bit of a hassle.
