Yes, the crash happens both whether the initially open session is an empty one or one I actually worked on. I attached the backtrace, which I generated with Ardour 7.2.0, because that’s the highest version I can get from Fedora’s repositories. I tested with the flatpak package for version 7.3.0 and the bug happens in exactly the same way, but I don’t know how to generate a backtrace from a flatpak package. PS: I can’t attach text to my note, I keep getting this error when clicking the “Add Note” button, both on Chrome and Firefox (which is why I had to add this comment a an attached text file…): APPLICATION ERROR #401 Database query failed. Error received from database was #1366: Incorrect string value: '\xE2\x80\xAFcan...' for column `ardour_mantisdb`.`mantis_bugnote_text_table`.`note` at row 1 for the query: INSERT INTO mantis_bugnote_text_table ( note ) VALUES ( ? ). Please use the "Back" button in your web browser to return to the previous page. There you can correct whatever problems were identified in this error or select another action. You can also click an option from the menu bar to go directly to a new section.
