Summary | 0007385: Impossible to use a MIDI track template without cheating
Description | Although it's easy to save a MIDI track template, when creating a new track, choosing the "MIDI track" option rightfully disables the "Configuration" dropdown menu. One major drawback, though, is I'm not allowed to create a MIDI track based on a template. A workaround is to select an "Audio track" then choose the MIDI track template in the configuration selector, and it will create a MIDI track. IMHO, the "from template" creation shouldn't be a part of the configuration submenu but a menu by itself, as it preempts even the track type.
Steps To Reproduce | - Save a midi track as a template - create a new track - choose "MIDI Track" as the type -> no access to the template Workaround : - choose "Audio track" as the type - select the template -> the MIDI track is created from template
