| Summary | 0000725: export session to multichannel soundfiles | ||||
| Description | Why limit exported soundfiles to be 1-2 channels? It would be convenient to have further choices than mono and stereo when exporting a session to soundfiles. | ||||

I'm using a playback system with the possibility of playing up to 10 channels of audio and 5 channels of video, sadly this system requires the audio to be a single file, so having the possibility of exporting to many channels from ardour would be very useful. Is anyone working on this? Would it be possible to up the priority on this? I know for us it is the primary reason for us not to use ardour at the moment, there might be more people out there with the same view. |
