Summary0007158: Rec Enable of a grouped track does not affect monitoring point (Post vs IN) for all tracks in group
DescriptionEnabling a track for record changes the monitoring point from "Post" to "In" as it should. If tracks are members of a group, and that group has "Rec" enabled, then enabling record for any track in that group enables record for all the tracks in the group (as it should). However, it only changes the monitoring point to "IN" for the track whose rec button was actually clicked. The other tracks in the group remain at "Post" (or where ever they were).
Steps To ReproduceStart a new default session.
Create 3 new audio tracks and assign them to a group.
Look at bottom of mixer strips, they show "Post".
Enable Record on one of the tracks (the rest will also be enabled by the group)
Look at mixer strips again - only one strip shows "IN".
Expected (historical) behavior would be for all record-enabled tracks to monitor their Inputs.

This issue persists on version 5.10, and is the same on Fedora26 as it was on Ubuntu. The monitoring point display on the mixer strips looks differently due to the GUI update - but the incorrect functionality is the same. To be clear - my issue is that the meters on the mixer strips are not "live" with the incoming signal (except for the one strip whos REC button was actually pressed to enable record for the group) Once the transport starts rolling - all tracks in the group ARE monitored (by the meters) correctly - but not before.

Not reproducible in 5.10 of kxstudio as well as in self compiled current git. When I hit the recenable button of one track of the group, the metering points of all tracks in the group switch from Post to In and back when recenable is switched off.

Everything as expected.

Argh! Turns out I downloaded 5.10, removed 5.5, and then installed 5.5.
With 5.10 actually installed - indeed the issue is resolved.
Thanks!
