| Description | Trying to export to audio file gets stuck without an error. 44 byte audio file is created and never grows. That symptom is very reminiscent of an old jack2 freewheeling bug (fixed sometime in 2013 during the 1.9.10 dev cycle). Does the Ardour export-progress bar stay at 0%, but "cancel" works? and also sometimes export works normally? Can you reproduce this with jack1 or another Ardour backend (ALSA, Dummy)? Does this also exist with jack2 latest git? |

Yes, I have upgraded Jack from the kxstudio Ubuntu repo and the problem is gone. I hope it will not raise problems with other apps as the official version of Jackd2 for Trusty is 1.9.9.5 (and I don't want to keep the Kxstudio repos in). Thanks! |
