Nothing was changed in 2.8.14 that would affect this. Its normally caused by system-level issues (e.g. Ardour is now using a different part of your disk). Do you still have 2.8.12 installed? Does it behave in the same way now? |

Sorry Paul, I didn't follow my report ! Actually 2.8.12 works perfectly, without changing anything to the config file ( 48 tracks ). I tried to suppress all config files between the two installations, nothing changed, and nothing changed when I keep them. The disc problem happens when using both 2.8.14 and A3. When you want I can send you some log files, tell me what you need. |

Ok, now that I have changed my buffers ( passed it to 512 because my soundcard doesn't seem to accept more ) it seems to record something, but the display hangs, and to quit ardour I have to " force to quit " in the Mac OsX dock. When I reopen the session I can see that audio has been recorded. Maybe a graphic issue ? Is there a graphic change between 2.8.12 and 2.8.14 ? |

Hello. With 2.8.16 version, no more problem : - my buffers are at 2048 now, thanks to Jackd which is able to increase the original buffer size of my soundcard ). - I've put 10s of internal buffering for audio in the .ardour2 config file. Display doesn't hang like with 2.8.14. |
