DescriptionThe region gain line is shown outside the confines of the region after some combination of resizing the track height and showing automation tracks.

The right steps required to achieve this is not yet known.

Resizing the track height and hiding/sowing automation tracks does not rectify the issue, the gain line remains relative to the track but still outside it.

The top points are at +8.6dB, I believe +6dB should be the max.

Now that it's not actually possible to hide the region gain line I don't seem able to reproduce the problem any more.

Not possible? There's Preferences->Editor->Show gain envelopes in audio regions. Was there another way?

Ah. I always used the region context menu where in the gain menu there used to be 2 options, one to enable one to show the gain line. Only one option exists now, ie to enable, the show one was removed.

Now I know about the global option I have tried it and it does nothing. The gain line does not get hidden when that option is disabled.

The global option works here, albeit only when region gain mode is not selected. I've clarified the option text in SVN 12790.
