| Description | [SVN trunk] Hi, When ardour is running in "jack" mode the transport does never stop. It loop from the end marker to the location it started top play. And sometime "play" and "stop" buttons seems to randomly activate/deactivate them and the transport continue slowly to move after the "end" marker. However, when running in "internal" mode it works as expected. Bye | ||||
| Additional Information | To reproduce it: 1/ Create a new session. 2/ Record something. 3/ Check the option "Stop transport at session end" if not already checked. 4/ Put ardour in "jack" mode instead of "internal" mode. 5/ rewind to the beginning of the track or wherever else. 6/ Click on the "play" button. On the first times it will loop and about a moment buttons will go crazy. | ||||

I have seen this behavior a couple times with other jack applications connected. For example, Rosegarden, with a preroll of -2 (start playing 2 measures before 0), will do something like this. What other jack apps are connected? (The cure for rosegarden is to set preroll to 0) |

Again, same thing with both last ardour "trunk" and "2.0-ongoing". Nothing else running than Jack and Ardour in Jack mode. Bye |
